heres a visual artist who really inspires the way i paint and the way i use colors in my work. many say that Michael Cina's works are just random 'splatter of paint', but i think the use minimum graphic communication and visual narrative allows audience to really look through and breathe through the artist's painting and really understand what the artist is trying to protray.

i love love colors, most of my works involve with vibrant colors because i believe that it is colors that truly define emotions that come through individual's heart and mind.

the different forms of medium, textures, immaculate shapes and lines varies as Cina's style of painting is rather 'loose' and 'free'.  here goes the masterpieces:

words that keep your head up.

my first artsypride post is dedicated to my favorite fashion art designer- Mary Katrantzou!

Kartrantzou's designs are unbelievably breathtaking, her unique style was slowly being recognised  when she worked with Sophia Kokosalaki in 2002 and entered my life ever since her designs appeared on my tumblr page.

she has truly brought fashion into a whole to level as she focuses greatly on architectural concepts, colors, patterns and female figure which i think is still somehow vague in the fashion industry, thus making her unique and different.

so get ready for some magic:

Mary Katrantzou, Born in Athen in 1983

her style/ theme that i really adore:

Trompe-l'œil - 'an art technique involving realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects exist in three dimensions.'

vibrant pints, sculptural dresses stamped with digital prints which inspired by interior photos.

also inspired by Russian Constuctivism and early 70s movie poster.

can't afford to buy one yet, but in the future with my own money, i will.
